November 2024

Dear Family & Friends,

Hello to everyone! I hope you all have had a refreshing time with family over the Thanksgiving holiday. We started out the month of November in Mission Conference at Ridge Road Baptist Church in Hiram, GA. There were some great sermons preached, and it was a blessing to be there with Pastor Hewitt and some of the finest missionaries of our day. On Sunday, November 3rd, we had meetings at New Hope Baptist Church in Walnut Cove, NC and Victory Bible Baptist Church in Tobaccoville, NC. That Monday we drove back to Arkansas for some appointments and then made our way to Bethany Baptist Church in Courtland, MS to finish out the week in Revival services. On Sunday, November 10th we sang at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Mount Pleasant, AR. On November 11th and 12th, we sang, and Benjamin and I both preached for Revival services at First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Clarksville, AR. That Wednesday, we were privileged to be home to attend the mid-week services at our home church, Arbanna Baptist Church. That Wednesday afternoon I got a call that my grandfather was about to pass from this life to the next. I had just visited him the Saturday before, but my oldest two boys did not get to visit with him. They took off to Mississippi and the Lord graciously let them get there in time to spend a half hour or so with him before he passed. The next day, we met up with them in Tennessee and made our way over to Lighthouse Baptist Church in Shepherdsville, KY for a youth meeting on Friday night, and we sang during their Sunday services. The following Monday, November 18th, we drove up to Shelbyville, IN to Victorious Life Baptist Church where we sang, and both Benjamin and I were able to preach that week. After the final service on Saturday, we made our way back down to Ridge Road Baptist Church in Hiram, GA. It was a special day. The Lord even allowed us to see an adult lady trust in the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ during the morning service, Praise the Lord! That Monday we made our way down to Mississippi for Thanksgiving with family. On Saturday, November 30th, we were blessed to play and sing during the wedding ceremony at Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church in Calico Rock, AR for Bro. John Collier and Miss Abigale Riley.

We praise the Lord for his kindness to us. During the month of November, we were able to acquire a 50x30 pole tent. We have a little work to do to get it ready for use, but we are excited to have this tool for ministry. Also, please pray for us as we continue to make plans for our mission trip to Maine this coming August. In January, Caleb and Benjamin are planning to go with my Dad on a trip to New Brittian Isle in Papua New Guinnea. Please pray for the trip and the many expenses related to such an endeavor. Please, put our motorhome in your prayers. Since May we have been having issues with the hydraulic cooling fan system. That has made traveling through the mountains tedious to say the least. We are praying we can find someone with experience with these type systems to get it diagnosed and repaired before February.
